SNBP 2026 is a national selection pathway evaluation based strictly on academic transcripts or a combination of academic rubrics and non-academic achievements determined by State Universities (PTN). This pathway is dedicated to final-year high school students (Grade 12) in 2026 who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, possess a valid National Student Identification Number (NISN), are registered in the School and Student Database (PDSS), and have their academic grades from semesters 1 to 5 fully recorded in the system.
General Regulations:
- Selection is evaluated based on academic tracking (transcripts) as well as the student's top three academic or non-academic achievements approved by the university.
- Participating schools must hold a valid National School Identification Number (NPSN) and accurately complete the academic tracking for eligible students within the PDSS platform.
- Applicants must have recorded Academic Ability Test (TKA) scores from Kemdikdasmen.
- Schools must maintain an active SNPMB School Account for PDSS administration, and students must possess an active SNPMB Student Account for formal registration.
- Schools are permitted to register eligible students prior to the formal activation of individual student accounts.
- Students officially admitted through the SNBP 2024, 2025, or 2026 cohorts are strictly barred from registering for the UTBK-SNBT 2026 and any Institutional Independent Tracks (Jalur Mandiri) at any state university.

2. UTBK - SNBT (National Examination-Based Student Admissions)
UTBK-SNBT 2026 is open to high school graduates from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 cohorts (SMA/MA/SMK and equivalents), as well as Paket C graduates from 2024 and 2025, with a maximum age limit of 25 years old (as of July 1, 2026). Mandatory participation in the UTBK examination is the primary prerequisite for entry into conventional State Universities (PTN Academic), Polytechnics (PTN Vokasi), and State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN).
General Regulations:
- Applicants are permitted to sit for the UTBK 2026 examination only once. Test scores are valid exclusively for the 2026 admissions cycle.
- Admissions processing is determined by UTBK 2026 scores, paired with a specialized portfolio assessment for applicants selecting Arts and/or Sports science disciplines.
- Students declared successful in the SNBP 2024, 2025, and 2026 tracks are disqualified from sitting for the UTBK-SNBT 2026.

3. SPAN–PTKIN (National Islamic Higher Education Merit-Based Admissions)
SPAN-PTKIN is a non-examination nationwide admission track based on academic performance evaluations using school transcripts and portfolio assessments. This track is accessible to eligible final-year students nominated collectively by the heads of recognized secondary educational institutions (MA/MAK/SMA/SMK/PDF/PKPPS) officially licensed by the government.

- The nominating school must be an officially accredited institution holding an active legal operational license.
- Applicants must demonstrate competitive academic standing and satisfy the distinctive competency benchmarks established by the target PTKIN.
- Must possess an active NISN and complete institutional transcript entries for Grade X (Semesters 1 & 2), Grade XI (Semesters 1 & 2), and Grade XII (Semester 1) within the central database.

4. UM – PTKIN (National Islamic Higher Education Examination-Based Admissions)
A unified, synchronous nationwide computer-based examination administered by the National Selection Committee under the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. It serves to screen qualified applicants for State Islamic Universities (UIN), State Islamic Institutes (IAIN), State Islamic Colleges (STAIN), and accredited programs approved by the Ministry.
General Regulations and Prerequisites:
- Open to secondary school graduates (MA/MAK/SMA/SMK/SPM/PDF/PKPPS) from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 cohorts.
- Graduates from 2024 and 2025 must present an official diploma or formal Graduation Certificate (SKL). Candidates from the 2026 cohort must hold at least an interim SKL, Graduation Announcement, Student ID, or National ID Card (KTP).
- Applicants must provide a valid NISN, an active email address, and an active WhatsApp number for primary correspondences.

5. UIN Sunan Kalijaga Institutional Independent Admissions
An institutional-level admission track organized independently by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta for all offered degree programs spanning secular, social, and religious studies. It accommodates graduates from secondary institutions or equivalent Paket C tracks from the 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 cohorts, with a maximum age of 25 years old by July 1 of the current admissions cycle.
A. Independent Admission Categories:
An online proctored entrance exam using an Android-based system. Testing is completed remotely from the candidate's residence using cellular devices and student-provided data plans.
2. Academic & Non-Academic Merit TrackTailored for applicants who achieved 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place victories in national-level non-academic competitions (such as arts, athletics, or religious categories), verified by formal certifications issued by Indonesian Ministries or State Institutions. Quranic memorizers are eligible under this track by enclosing a certified Tahfiz certificate showing a minimum of 26 Juz.
3. Portfolio Affirmation Track- UTBK/UM-PTKIN Scores: Selection based on official national test results from UTBK-SNBT 2026 (for conventional majors) or UM-PTKIN 2026 (for religious studies).
- International Applicants: Dedicated portfolio screening for foreign nationals who completed equivalent secondary education overseas.
- Applicants with Disabilities: An inclusive portfolio-based affirmative pathway for students with special needs, coordinated via the Center for Disability Services (PLD).
- Diversity & Affirmative Access: Portfolio-based admission tailored for non-Muslim candidates and students residing in frontier, outermost, and socio-economically disadvantaged regions (3T regions).
A specialized global classroom track for outstanding secondary graduates, requiring demonstrated English and/or Arabic language proficiencies verified via certified credentials (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEC, or IKLA).
Specific Track Requirements:
- Diversity Track: Must submit an ID card verifying non-Muslim status or residency within a 3T region, a recommendation letter from an official religious or community leader, a thematic essay focusing on diversity, and a formal Statement of Purpose.
- International Undergraduate Program (IUP): Requires an official physical and mental health clearance certificate, a minimum score of TOEFL ITP 450 or TOEC/IKLA 400, a Motivation Letter (minimum 300 words), and successful completion of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (TPA) and a bilingual psychological interview.
