  1. UIN Sunan Kalijaga provides reasonable accommodations and specialized services for applicants with disabilities to ensure equal rights and full participation throughout the selection process.
  2. The aforementioned accommodations include:
    1. Exam materials in Braille, audio, or digital formats
    2. Assistants or sign language interpreters
    3. Accessible, disability-friendly examination rooms and facilities
    4. Extended testing time for applicants with special needs.
  3. Applicants may submit supporting documentation and request specific accommodations through the online registration form to access these services.

Affirmative Pathways and Inclusive Quotas

  1. UIN Sunan Kalijaga provides affirmative action pathways or inclusive quotas dedicated to marginalized groups with limited access to higher education, including:
    1. Applicants from low-income families
    2. Applicants from frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged regions (the 3T regions)
    3. Individuals with disabilities
    4. Victims of natural disasters, social conflicts, or violence.

Fair and Non-Discriminatory Assessment Policy

  2. The admissions committee does not consider non-academic, discriminatory factors—such as parents' social status, gender, or religious background—unless specifically relevant to the core competencies of a particular study program and explicitly disclosed in a transparent manner.

  1. Official information regarding the admissions process is disseminated through accessible channels to the general public, including the university website, official social media platforms, and on-campus notice boards.

Grievance Mechanisms

  1. Applicants reserve the right to file a grievance if they experience any treatment perceived as unfair, discriminatory, or non-inclusive during the selection process.
  2. Grievances may be submitted through the following channels:
    1. Online via the official admissions website
    2. In-person at the admissions committee secretariat
    3. Through the university's official institutional grievance channels.
  3. Every grievance will be processed and resolved objectively, confidentially, and accountably.
