Group 2 Integrative Overseas KKN FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta: Restoring the Spirit of Malay Culture in Betong, Yala, Thailand.

Group 2 Integrative Overseas Real Work Lecture (KKN) Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta completed its service period in Betong, Yala, Thailand, on July 17-August 28, 2019. Eight female students are members of this group; they are students of the PAI and PBA study programs, namely Amelia Zahroh, Miss Aisyah Dadeh, Miss Aesah Maiming, Miss Fataheeyah Baso, Riska Wahyu Nurcendani, Vivi Dwi Fatimatul Azizah, Winda Sulistyarini, and Zaimatuz Zakiyah.

The work program of the 2nd Integrative Overseas Community Service Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga focuses on three programs: social community, socio-religious, and education and literacy.

First, the social program of the 2nd Integrative Overseas Community Service Program FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta participated in training the Saman dance for the children of Tadika Darul Athfal in Benang Since village and set up a booth in the "One Day at My Kampoeng" event organized by the Youth Association of Kampung Benang Since. On Monday, August 12, 2019. This event aims to restore the spirit of Malay culture, which has begun to fade with the times and maintain the noble Malay ethos. The holding of the event invites admiration and appreciation from the community. "We are very grateful for the cooperation that your friends have done so far and we promise to preserve this Saman dance in our village," said Najmudin,e head of the event organizer.

Second, the socio-religious program of group 2 Integrative Overseas KKN FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta attended several times and simultaneously sparked routine recitations for mothers held in Benang Since village every Friday morning and Saturday night in Kapeh Hulu village. Meanwhile, Tahsinul Qur'an is held every Monday night with the Khoiriyah Wittaya Mulnithi hut children, Betong, Yala, Thailand.

Third, the education and literacy program was colored with cultural studies and visits to Tadika Darul Athfal, Benang Since village and Tadika Kapeh Hulu village to teach them little by little about the Indonesian language, starting with the Indonesian alphabet and numbers interspersed with games that motivate them to participate in activities.

A member of the Benang Since Village Youth Association named Asrudin expressed his pleasure and joy over the existence of the FITK Integrative KKN students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. He advised me always to maintain this cordial relationship and not hesitate to revisit Betong. The existence of Integrative Overseas KKN FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta, is the first step for the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training to realize the ideals of UIN Sunan Kalijaga as a World Class University.
