Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Departs 2019 Integrative Integrative PLP-KKN Students to Thailand
The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta carried out an Integrative Overseas School Field Work Introduction (PLP-KKN) from July 1 to August 29 2019. The 13 students of FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga consisted of 8 students majoring in Religious Education. Islam, 4 students majoring in Arabic Language Education and 1 student majoring in Teacher Education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. All of the Integrative PLP-KKN students were placed in two regions of Southern Thailand, namely Pattani and Yala.
The Secretariat of the FITK Education Laboratory said "students will serve for six weeks with various programs including religious social, social, education and literacy".
Dean of FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga Dr. Ahmad Arifi, M.Ag, in the agenda for the release of the 2019 Integrative Overseas PLP-KKN participants which was held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, advised students to be able to optimize their role by practicing their pedagogical knowledge in schools and the community through various programs held as part of WCU (WCU). He also emphasized that by holding the Integrative Overseas PLP-KKN program, FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga was able to establish cooperation with the foundation and contribute to building the wider community.
He also added, so that students can take lessons or experiences gained during the program, which can then be put into practice after returning to their homeland.
