Alfi Rahmah Sya'bana MS, MPI student batch 2015, became a UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta delegate in student exchange at Chiang Mai University, Thailand, through the 2018 SAVIOR (Students' Academic Visit to Foreign Country) program. (12 September – 27 September 2018) this is the first program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga to expand collaboration between universities to realize UIN Sunan Kalijaga as The World Class University. In this program, he was allowed to be actively involved in lectures, visit Islamic Communities, interact directly with students from various countries, enrich scientific studies references, and consult with lecturers who are experts in their fields. He participated in four lecture courses: Transnationalism and Social Issues, Man and Art, Psychology and Daily Life, and The World of Social Sciences.

In this program, he also studied educational management at Chiang Mai University, known as the best campus no. 3 in Thailand so that it can be applied at MPI UIN Sunan Kalijaga and become new knowledge for all students. "I hope that through this program I can inspire all students, especially MPI students to always be actively involved in off-campus activities and become student mobility who brings the name of the MPI study program to the international arena," he said. The SAVIOR program is expected to become an annual program that can be sustainable to expand cooperation between universities and study programs. (MS)
