Students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Department of Islamic Education Management (MPI) Observation at the Ministry of Religion Kulon Progo

Kulon Progo (Kankemenag) – A total of 11 students majoring in Islamic Education Management at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta made observations at the Kankemenag Kulon Progo. Observations will be carried out for the next two months with data collection activities. This was conveyed by the Field Supervisor, Misbahul Munir, when accompanying PLP students to start observations at the Ministry of Religion, Kulon Progo, Wednesday (6/3) morning.


“This UIN student will hold PLP I for 2 months to make observations. The activity is in the form of data collection. This data is to understand and study the managerial system at Kankemenag Kulon Progo,” said Misbahul Munir.


“This PLP aims to train and develop educational potential. Besides that, it is also to understand the ins and outs of the institution with all its problems,” he added.


“After completing PLP I, then these UIN students will hold PLP II for practical work directly at the Ministry of Religion of Kulon Progo. As for the timing, it will be adjusted to see the situation and conditions,” he added.


The presence of the PLP UIN Sunan Kalijaga student was accepted by the Head of Subsection TU, Drs. H. Moh Mustolih. In his remarks, the Head of the Subdivision welcomed and thanked UIN Sunan Kalijaga for being trusted by UIN Sunan Kalijaga to place PLP for students. Mustolih also introduced the organizational structure in his office.


“We ask all students to be active in this observation. Don’t be silent, because if you are silent, we don’t know what is needed,” said Mustolih.


“Technically, please arrange it by the students themselves. Please divide into several groups according to the agreement, later each section will make it easier to help provide the data needed,” he ordered.


“As for PLP II, students will be able to adapt to the environment of the Ministry of Religion in Kulon Progo. All existing activities must be followed properly,” he concluded. (abi)
