1. We are developing education based on Islam, science, technology, art (IPTEKS) and Indonesianness.
2. Develop a culture of research ijtihad in the field of Islamic-based education.
3. Increase the participation of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training in the fields of education, national culture and civilization.
4. Increase cooperation with various parties as a manifestation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, especially in education. 

FITK's goal

1. To produce bachelor's, master's, and doctorate of education with integrative-interconnective academic and professional abilities.
2. To produce bachelors, masters, and doctorates of education who have faith, noble character, social and managerial skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and a sense of social responsibility for humanity.
3. To produce bachelors, masters, and doctorates of education who respect and animate the values ​​of science, humanity, and Indonesianness.
4. Make the faculty a study centre that excels in integrative and interconnective educational studies and research.
5. Build a strong and functional network with alumni and similar institutions at home and abroad.
