Coordination of Preparation for the 2022 FITK Working Meeting

Yogyakarta, January 24, 2022.The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) held a Coordination Meeting for the 2022 FITK Work Meeting Preparation held at Omah Kecebong Sleman.The event was attended by the Head of the Dean, Prof.Dr.Hj.Sri Sumarni, M.Pd.as the Dean of FITK, Prof.Dr.Abdul Munip, S.Ag., M.Ag.(WD 1 FITK), Dr.H. Zainal Arifin Ahmad, M.Ag (WD 2 FITK), Dr.Imam Machali, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.(WD 3 FITK), Hj.Ratna Eryani, S.Ag.(Head of TU FITK), and Head of Study Program & Secretary for S3, S2, S1 at FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.

Prof.Dr.Hj.Sri Sumarni, M.Pd.as Dean of FITK:Development of FITK 2021-2024, The strategy of an institution's activities begins with the role of stakeholders and is based on outcomes, innovation, and learning, based on accreditation, logical framework. Our Strengths The best BLU, Superior Accreditation, Quality, exemplary faculty, International Students, High Community Interest, Quality Lecturers & Educators, MBKM Implementation (30 Partners).Target 2021-2024 (regionally recognized faculty) in Islamic and general education. Strategic Issues Vision and Mission, Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Religion: Religious Moderation and Internationalization, International Movement for Networking Tarbiyah (Guitar).

Dr.H. Zainal Arifin Ahmad, M.Ag (WD 2 FITK): this one year, we need a shared vision whose hope is to improve the quality of lectures, learning in classes towards Outcome Base Education (OBE) and Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) which inseparable from the Strategic Plan of UIN and the Ministry of Religion, therefore one of the innovations developed is FITK 100% using digital learning by providing an International-level Learning Management System (LMS)https://elvet.id/.

Dr.Imam Machali, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.(WD 3 FICK): Improving student service by strengthening Self Confidence, including programs directed at digital academics, academic leadership, religious moderation, an internship in Manado, student academic skills, International Conference on Islamic students, an international competition on Islamic students, Scientific Publications students (400 publications) in 2021,Field of cooperation: 50 Domestic collaboration and 42 foreign cooperation.

The next event is a report from each commission.Commission 1 (S1): Study program activities that have similarities so that they can be carried out together, such as an International webinar with the theme of Integration of Science in Religion & Science and MBKM Implementation starting in semester 5 need to be benchmarked to UPI, IPB and ITB 9-11 February 2022,

Commission 2 (S2 & S3): efforts to implement MBKM by taking elective courses for Masters at UIN, other universities at home & abroad, taking specialization courses for S3, besides that, lecturer activities outside campus need to be increased, external examiners for theses & dissertations, sandwich programs, international conferences, lectures by foreign guest lecturers, increasing the number of international students in Masters & Doctoral Degrees.

Commission 3 (Central/Unit Leader): immediately implement MBKM; each study program carries out credit transfers and collaboration between study programs, Integrity Zone Activities, Faculty Internationalization, Lecturer Academic Position Improvement, Faculties, and Study Programs synchronization; PPG needs to prepare Accreditation, Campus Go to School to School or madrasah, education labs support culturally friendly campuses, emphasis on study programs in terms of mini research, the flexibility of PLP KKN to accelerate student graduation, a collaboration of student lecturers in research, PSMF will coordinate with WD1 will build integrated faculty management as a source of document needs for study program accreditation needs.
