Yogyakarta, December 30, 2021.The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta held the Inauguration of PPG Professional Teachers in 2021 Positions (Madrasah & PAI Teachers), located at Prof. Building.Dr.Amin Abdullah (Multi Purpose Building) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.The event was attended by the Director of GTK Madrasah, Dr.Muhammad Zain, M.Ag., Director of PAI, Drs.H. Amrullah, M.Sc., Chancellor of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof.Dr.Phil.Al Makin, S.Ag., MA., Dean of FITK UIN Sunan Kaljaga Prof.Dr.Hj.Sri Sumarni, M.Pd., Head of PPG UIN Sunan Kalijaga Dr.H. Suwadi, S.Ag., M.Ag., M.Pd., Secretary of PPG UIN Sunan Kalijaga Dra.Hj. Endang Sulistyowati, M.Pd.I., and representatives of PPG UIN Sunan Kalijaga students who participated in the Offline Professional teacher inauguration procession.

Dean of FITK UIN Sunan Kaljaga Prof.Dr.Hj.Sri Sumarni, M.Pd.Provide reports since May PPG for two stages; the first stage is May-October, and the second stage is September-December; the total number of PPG participants is 926.With details of 222 participants from the Ministry of Religion PENDIS, 104 participants from the local government with the independent PPG cooperation program, Kab.Gunungkidul, 30 participants; DIY local government, 20 participants; Sukabumi City, 30 participants, Kab.Kulon Progo 24 Participants.In addition, from the Ministry of Religion, 600 GTK Guru Madarasa participants.PPG in the office is carried out with a complete online system; as many as 911 PPG UIN Sunan Kalijaga participants graduated with a graduation percentage of 97%.With this achievement, UIN Sunan Kalijaga received the award as an LPTK with the most innovative governance because it has the highest number of graduates.The innovations areVirtual hotline Service(HVS), Grid surgery, Refreshment deepening of material, Knowledge Test Tryout, and Learning video media development training.

The Chancellor of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof.Dr.Phil.Al Makin, S.Ag.Inaugurate PPG Professional Teachers in 2021 Positions (Madrasah & PAI Teachers) by symbolically embedding a pin to PPG Participants' representatives.In addition, he advised that the teaching profession is very noble. Without teachers, all will not achieve their goals; the service of teachers is excellent; respect teachers, and continue to be professional teachers.Furthermore, the reading of the Indonesian Teacher Pledge was led by Agus Suroyo.

Message from the Director of PAI, Drs.H. Amrullah, M.Si., advised that the teacher is the primary vehicle in the learning process that synergizes with students, curriculum, and materials. The teaching profession not only transfers knowledge but also transfers values. The teacher will bring about change for the success of his students; students are expected to have broad and better knowledge.

Message from the Director of GTK Madrasah, Dr.Muhammad Zain, M.Ag., advised that today we all face enormous challenges; professional teachers alone are not enough but must be added to care. Indonesia needs not only experienced teachers who are great academically but also experienced teachers who have excellent academic abilities and integrity and carry out their duties with love and care about the condition of students. There are three signs of a professional teacher:: attitude/honesty, skill, and love.
