Yogyakarta – Bandung International E-Poomsae Tournament will be held on 26-27 June 2021. The tournament was attended by 1850 participants, 182 clubs from 30 provinces and 16 countries. The Taekwondo Team of the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta won 3 gold and three bronze medals.

Nur Amina Rohani, a Student of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program, is one of the Taekwondo Athletes at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in the Women's Individual Poomsae category, won a bronze medal in the Bandung International E-Poomsae Tournament. Amina feels grateful for being in 3rd place and winning a bronze medal.

"My feelings are mixed between happy and sad, because my target is to get a gold medal. Three of my friends won gold medals, but yes, I'm still grateful, Alhamdulillah, I was able to get 3rd place to get a bronze medal," said Nur Amina Rohani.

Behind the achievements obtained, there are preparations made by Amina and the Taekwondoin Team of the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The practice is in the form of administrative courses and training.

"Preparations were carried out in two weeks. One week for administration and another week for practice. We practice independently from home and add regular exercises for seven days before taking videos," said Nur Amina Rohani.

The student born in 2001, after being ranked 3rd in the Bandung International E-Poomsae Tournament, hopes for the future so that on another occasion, the Taekwondoin Team of the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta again.

"My hope is that on another occasion it can be even better and can make the Taekwondoin Team of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University proud," said Nur Amina Rohani. (Tsaqifa Taqiyya Ulfah).
