Discussion at the Indonesian Embassy in New Delhi on Strategic Partnership with Indian Universities

To realize a World Class University, a group from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN SUKA visited the Indonesian Embassy in New Delhi, India and discussed building strategic partnerships with universities in India.This activity was held on Monday, August 19, 2019. At the event was the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM), Ms. Fientje Maritje Suebu as Deputy Head of the Indonesian Embassy in New Delhi, and Ms. Lestyani Yuniarsih as Education and Culture Attaché.
This meeting was hosted by Dr.Muqowim, M.Ag., by introducing all group members.Furthermore, the Dean of FITK, Mr. Dr.Ahmad Arifi, M.Ag., gave a speech on behalf of the group as well as conveyed the purpose of the visit to India, namely researching multicultural education, literature study for PAI program doctoral students and exploring cooperation with Aligarh Muslim University and visiting several schools in Aligarh.
The Deputy Ambassador, Ms. Fientje, warmly welcomed the group's arrival and gave her appreciation.He delivered Globally about the education system in India. Mrs. Lestyani also conveyed various more detailed information to the e-Education and Culture Attache of the Indonesian Embassy, including information on scholarships programmed by the Indian government, the number of Indonesian students studying in India, the challenges and opportunities of studying in India and the great hope to be able to establish cooperation in education.
