This scholarship program is limited to a quota of 200 people spread across 11 Islamic Religious Universities State (PTKIN).
UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is one of the PTKIN appointed by the Ministry of Religion to hold a Masters's Scholarship for the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program for Madrasah Teachers. They teach the History of Islamic Culture.The scholarship quota is provided for 17 people to be able to study at the PAI Masters Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
The Head of Admission of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Aulia Faqih Rifa'i, M.Kom, said that madrasa teachers who are interested in applying for this scholarship could meet the requirements set by UIN Sunan Kalijaga, namely having an undergraduate education from an accredited university, teaching Islamic History and Culture, and having a GPA. a minimum of 2.75 at the SI level, have a unique number of Madrasah Education and Education Personnel (NUPTK) or Number of Educators and Education Personnel (NPK) preferably certified and maximum age of 43 years.
Aulia Faqih Rifa'i explained that those who pass the selection have the right to take a master's education for two years or four semesters.In addition, they are entitled to education fee facilities and program implementation, which consists of program management, lectures and other academic activities, as well as internal and external coordination.Also entitled to the cost of living (Living Cost) worth Rp.1,700,000 per month and book costs 2,100,000 per year.
"Teachers selected to participate in the master's scholarship program will be released from their main duties as teachers during the study period (2 years) and return to carrying out their main duties after the program is completed.Then after the study, he is willing to return to work (at least 5 years) at his institution by being proven with a stamped statement," said Aulia.

For the selection process, the registration date is July 01 – 26, 2019; only the administrative selection is July 29 – 30, 2019, and the announcement of the administrative selection is July 31, 2019, followed by an interview test on August 5, 2019.
