As many as 475 new students at FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta took part in the 2018 PBAK event, which took place on the 1st floor of FITK UIN Suka; on this occasion, the Dean, Dr.Ahmad Arifi, M.Ag, gave three critical messages to prospective new students including:

1. Be serious in seeking knowledge and endeavor on time; if, for example, S1, you must pass a maximum of 4 years, not more.

2. Make achievements according to your abilities, Mr. Dean; for example, if you are an expert in the MTQ field, you must excel in that field at least to be a Provincial Champion.

3. Take part in extra activities that are on campus and are helpful such as UKM, Scouts, etc

In his speech, the dean also said that all of you new students are the chosen and lucky ones because 8000 people who registered at FITK for S1 and 475 were accepted; therefore, they must be put to good use.
